What can Soniz help me with?

Anything you’re studying on the web. Highlight a passage to have it explained, solve a problem step by step, or snip a graph, diagram or equation. Math and chemistry render properly, code is highlighted, and you can keep asking follow-up questions until it clicks.

Where does the chat open?

You choose in Settings under “Chat opens in”: a popup floating on the page, or in page. In page puts a popup-sized chat right under the Canvas quiz question you’re on, so you can keep reading the question while you ask about it. It’s only available on Canvas quizzes; on other sites the chat opens as a popup.

Is my data private?

Yes. Soniz only sends what you choose to ask about to get your answer. Your chat history stays in your browser, we don’t run ads or trackers, and we never sell your data. You can delete your account and its data anytime. Read the Privacy Policy.

Do I need an API key or another account?

No. All you need is a free Soniz account. Sign in with Google or an email and password, and everything else is included.

How do the limits work?

Each model has a daily count that resets at midnight UTC, and Plus and Pro also have a monthly total, both shown on the pricing cards: Quick is fast, Think works step by step, and Deep Think (Pro) is our smartest. The model menu in the chat shows how many questions you have left on each. If one runs out, the next best model answers.

Can I use Soniz on tests or graded work?

Soniz is for understanding your material, not for cheating. Use it to learn concepts, check your work and study for exams. Don’t use it on graded tests, quizzes or assignments unless your instructor allows AI tools, and always follow your school’s academic integrity policy.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account page in two clicks, with no fees or phone calls. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. The 3-day Pro trial needs no card, so there’s nothing to cancel. The 7-day trial with a card turns into Pro at $9.99/month unless you cancel before it ends, and if you do, you’re never charged. How do I delete my account?

Open your account page on our website and choose “Delete account.” It removes your account and its data and cancels any subscription immediately.
